The menu changes from time to time to introduce new entrées on our menu for our customers to enjoy.  Some entrées may return to the menu at a later time.

 

Since Denny’s is a popular destination for people when they are traveling on vacations, we sometimes advertise in markets that do not have a Denny’s restaurant to remind those customers we are available to serve them on their trip. 

 

Denny's has a Birthday Club for children ages 10 and under.  We have not offered a free meal for adult birthdays at company restaurants since 1995.  Please inquire with the General Manager of your local Denny’s since franchise restaurants have the option of setting their own promotions. 

 

The prices do not appear on the web site because they can vary from restaurant to restaurant.  Denny’s franchisees are independent owners/operators and can set their own pricing structure.

 

The Grand Slam was “born” in Atlanta in the early 1970s.  While it’s not certain that there was an official tie-in with the Atlanta Braves, it was at least informally based on fan support for the team.  The Grand Slam Breakfast symbolizes what Denny’s is all about—value.  And there’s no doubt that since its nationwide introduction in 1977 the Grand Slam has had a profound impact on the company and the brand.

 

From the beginning, Denny’s was intended to offer something for everyone and be available when people need to eat.  Even before it was Denny’s—when it was Danny’s Doughnuts—the mission was to serve the best cup of coffee; make the best doughnuts; give the best service; keep everything spotless; offer the best value; and stay open 24 hours a day.  Because some people work in shifts and in all hours of the day and night, Denny’s wanted to ensure we were meeting the needs of these people.  Today, Denny’s continues its outreach to all people—particularly families—who have hectic schedules and need a place to relax with some great food at any given time.

In the early years, Denny’s concentrated its expansion on major highways and freeway exits, and hungry travelers grew familiar with the Denny’s name. 

 

Specialty menu items for health conscious guests feature low-fat Fit Fare™ offerings.  Denny’s also offers special prices for guests age 55 and over and for children 10 and under.  In addition, Denny’s provides free refills on coffee, tea, soft drinks and lemonade, and we now offer Fusion Favorites—signature beverages exclusive to Denny’s.
