• Manage all national merchandising and lead process from creative assignment to fulfillment.
• Provide assignments, direction and feedback to the agencies on all pieces.
• Work closely with Business Leaders and ensure that the creative delivered is consistent with the strategy.
• Develop merchandising program for each module/program by identifying pieces and product focus on each piece (merchandising grid development).
• Manage and attend all merchandising photoshoots.
• Manage overall merchandising budget.
• Develop and adhere to specific timelines for delivery.
• Manage merchandising test programs.
• Oversee placemat printing working with Purchasing to ensure deadlines and timelines are met.
• Manage POP inventory with Denny's Distribution.
• Work closely with Sr. Manager of Menus and Merchandising on national menus.
• Manage process for internal input and approvals of all related materials.

• Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communications, marketing or advertising required.
• Print production experience preferred.
• Must have superb creative instincts and exceptional writing and communication skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate good organization abilities.
• Restaurant or retail experience highly desired.
• Occasional travel (estimated 5%)

• Excellent written and verbal skills.

• Experience in T-SQL / SQL Server preferred.
• Application support in POS systems such as Xpient IRIS, XBMS suite preferred.
• Some on-call, night and/or weekend work may be required based on business needs.

• Experience with VMWare and Veritas Netbackup required
• Prior experience in administering a Windows and Unix environment
