Go to scholarships page and select the appropriate link to the category that applies to you (current K-12 or college student).

Select a Partner Organization

Select the partner organization through which you wish to apply for the scholarship.

When the partner page opens, click “Apply Now.”

What are the

Scholarship Requirements?

Enrollment
All applicants must be enrolled in an accredited educational institution (K-12 or college) in the United States or Puerto Rico.
Citizenship
All applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or Puerto Rico.
Age
If an applicant under the age of 18 is selected as a potential Hungry for Education™ scholarship recipient, in order to be confirmed as a winner, the student’s parent or legal guardian must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Assignment of Rights.
Usage
Scholarship funds awarded to winners must be used for education, such as tuition and related fees, books, supplies, and equipment required for courses at an accredited post-secondary education institution.
Grade Point Average
Student must possess a minimum 2.5 GPA (K-12 and college). NOTE: Each partner organization may have additional requirements; however, GPA level varies.
Essay
Students will need to provide a 300-word essay (high school) or 500-word essay (college) on how Denny’s can bring their communities together.
Partner Requirements
High school and college students must meet GPA level and other requirements set by each partner organization.
Frequency
Students can apply for one scholarship each year and are only eligible to receive one scholarship per year.
